Y’all Meet

College is supposed to be one of the most social times of your life, but for millions of students, it's anything but. When orientation ends, so does the structure for meeting new people. Students default to screens, sticking to who they know or staying in entirely. Many never find “their people,” and most don't know how to fix it. This is the reality: 64% of students report feeling lonely (Active Minds, 2024), and 40% say loneliness is the emotion they feel most frequently (Yale Daily News, 2024). Feelings of isolation increase the risk of severe psychological distress by four times. Yet, the tools dominating student life today are built for swiping, scrolling, and staying home. That's why we're here. At Y'all Meet, our mission is to make real-world connection the default for student life, replacing isolation with authentic social belonging. We're building a platform that brings students together face-to-face, creating opportunities to form meaningful friendships and vibrant communities. Our goal is total inclusion—ensuring every student, everywhere, has the chance to form real connections that matter. Y'all Meet is a technology to reinvigorate social life, one meetup at a time.
